Wonderbly is the world's largest personalised books publisher. Since their inception in 2012, their best-selling books have delighted over 8 million children and grown-ups all over the world. From learning about their own identity, to discovering the world around them and developing empathy, curiosity and confidence, their stories help prepare children for every chapter of their life ahead.
We started our partnership in early 2023, when Wonderbly was going through a re-brand with Brisbane-based agency LoveWork. Throughout that process, we were tasked with defining a long-term vision for improving the experience for repeat customers.

In the early stages of the project, we partnered closely with Wonderbly's Product & Executive teams to brainstorm how the future could look like.
We started by understanding the current Wonderbly ecosystem, and the changes they're going through as a company, followed by numerous workshops to identify potential future routes and merging them into a long-lasting vision that can be validated further.
Once the vision was validated, we started breaking everything down into deliverable chunks, and ship them one by one.

Some of Wonderbly's biggest retention challenges came from the numerous user experience issues that customers were facing.
We started by fixing the basics through things such as redesigning the Sign-up & Log-in flow, quickly followed by bolder, more impactful features.
